Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website operators. Versly uses a minimal set of cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to function.
Versly does not use cookies for advertising, tracking, or analytics purposes. We only use essential cookies that are required for authentication and core functionality. There are no third-party tracking cookies on our site.
The following table describes the cookies used by Versly:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| versly-auth-token | Authentication session. Keeps you signed in across page loads. | Session / 1 year | Essential |
| versly-auth-verifier | PKCE code verifier for secure OAuth sign-in flows. | Session | Essential |
In addition to cookies, Versly uses browser local storage for the following purposes:
| Key | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| versly-theme | Stores your dark/light theme preference. | Preference |
| versly-auth-token | Authentication tokens may also be stored in local storage as a fallback. | Essential |
The Versly VS Code extension uses the editor's built-in state management to persist sidebar state between views. This data is stored locally on your machine and is not transmitted to our servers. The extension does not use browser cookies.
Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them may prevent the Service from functioning correctly (e.g., you will not be able to stay signed in). You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
You can also clear all Versly cookies by signing out of your account, which will remove authentication cookies from your browser.
Versly does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not employ any external tracking services or pixel-based monitoring. Your browsing activity on versly.ai is not tracked or shared with advertisers.
If we introduce new types of cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated on this page.
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at support@versly.ai.
